Attention of handling drums
Please carry out practical compatibility tests using real steel drums before any
improved contents or new types of contents are filled.
Causticity of contents may change if any additive or amount is altered.
Caustic content may corrode steel and cause leaks.
Drums should be kept inside as a rule.(Steel: the main material of drums could rust away easily if carelessly kept.)
When storing, please avoid high-temperature, humidity, and corrosion.
As a standard, please fill the drum within 14 days after production dates. Long-term storage may cause rust due to different temperatures and frost inside
the drums. Please do not open or keep plugs loosen before filling.(Dust and humidity
may go into the drums.)
The chemical treatment (iron phosphating) is a primary coating designed for painting
Steel drums are not high-pressure containers.
Extreme deformations or pokes caused by dropping or shocking may cause leaks to
Please wear gloves when handling drums.
Please tighten the plugs with appropriate torques. if the torque is too loose, drums
If the torque is too strong, gaskets and plugs could be damaged and elasticity of
Tightening torques of different type closures are different.
In case that content with high temperature has to be filled, please tighten the plugs at
The shrinkage caused by big temperature difference may deform the drums.
Please keep the drums inside after being filled.
