UN certificate is recommended by United Nation for marine transportation of dangerous articles.

Marine transportation of dangerous articles in steel drums require

UN marked containers. In China, only UN certificated drums are

permitted to fill and transport dangerous articles if via ocean.UN

certificated drums manufactured by JFE Steel Drum Group

passed two tests as follows.

Tight head drums for liquid content

Specifications of tests
Content specific gravity: 1.6;
Dropping height: 2.4m with water fully filled;

Water pressure: 300kPa.

Open head drum for liquid content
Specifications of tests
Content specific gravity: 1.9;
Dropping height: 1.9m with water fully filled;
Water pressure: 100kPa.
